I've been busy pushing the composition around on two paintings this size over the past couple of months. I just started playing with some base colors beyond just the darks and lights.

This is a detail from a seriously laborious painting................................I started it before my last show was even hung.........so many changes!!! Come check out the whole thing.

I would kill to be able to travel here to draw and paint the melting landscape in Greenland!

These black lines in the glacier come from pollution. Because they are black not white like the surrounding snow they absorb not reflect the suns rays and create incredible caverns and rivers miles deep into the ice. Were in big trouble ( little china ).
