My name is Evan LaPorte and I am a painter living in New Bedford, Ma. I am a subjective painter concerned with formal issues, however I am not concerned with accurate representation. I am focused on honest translation and the creation of images informed by my hand, my history and my observations. Good Looks... on the good books

My friend Paxton gave me a book with this guys illustrations last year. He is autistic and loves to exhaust his subject matter. ( Greg Blackstock.... not Paxton. ) His drawings are fresh and more sophisticated than the childlike images you almost expect. When viewing his work as collections you can't help notice the raw psychology of his work. You should check him out. Comme De Garcon did and they made a whole apparel line out of his drawings.
